POSTISOMETRIC RELAXATION

In sports and sports rehabilitation, the method of postisometric relaxation (PIR) or the so-called isometric stretching, which successfully copes with relaxation and lengthening of shortened muscles. This is a relatively simple but very effective and safe technique that a sports doctor or therapist can apply to reduce muscle tone and increase the volume of movement in a joint.
